Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026 · Applies to atechsavvy.com

Atechsavvy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the technology blog at atechsavvy.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how advertising partners (including Google AdSense) may process data, and the choices you have. By using the site, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Who we are

Atechsavvy publishes independent editorial content about software and hardware, gadgets, apps, digital marketing, finance tech, gaming, AI, telecom, education technology, and related topics. We are not a data broker. Contact us at contact@atechsavvy.com for privacy requests.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or health data through the blog. Do not submit that information via forms.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, measure aggregate readership, prevent abuse, comply with law, and—only when permitted—deliver and measure advertising that funds free editorial content.

4. Google AdSense, cookies, and third-party advertising

Atechsavvy uses Google AdSense and may work with other third-party ad vendors to display ads. These partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

Google and other vendors may collect or receive identifiers (including cookie IDs), IP address, device information, and page-view data when ads are requested. This processing is described in Google’s advertising and privacy documentation. Personalized advertising cookies are non-essential and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, UK, and similar jurisdictions, are not used until you provide affirmative consent through our cookie banner (or equivalent preference controls).

You can manage ad preferences and personalization through:

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not remove all advertising; you may still see contextual ads that do not rely on personalized profiling cookies. Essential cookies required to deliver the page or remember your consent choice may still be used.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) consent for non-essential cookies and personalized advertising; (b) legitimate interests for securing the site, basic audience measurement that is strictly necessary, and responding to requests; and (c) contract/steps prior to contract when you ask us to reply to a message. You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

6. California and U.S. state privacy notices

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, may provide rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Some advertising cookies can constitute “sharing.” Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, reject non-essential cookies, or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser. We do not knowingly sell personal information of minors under 16.

See also our USA Cookie Policy for cookie-specific disclosures.

7. Retention

Contact emails are retained as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business records (typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required). Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle. Consent records stored in localStorage remain until you clear site data or change preferences.

8. Sharing

We share data with service providers who host or secure the site, and with advertising/analytics partners described above. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell email lists.

9. International transfers

Our hosting and ad partners may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms used by those providers.

10. Children’s privacy

The site is directed to a general audience and is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where stricter rules apply). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email contact@atechsavvy.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We will verify and respond within applicable timelines.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material advertising or tracking changes will also be reflected in our cookie policies and consent banner.
